The Brief & The Strategic Friction

The Objective

Present the furniture studio as a way of living, helping visitors experience the feeling of a room before comparing individual pieces.

The Challenge

Furniture websites often rely on award claims, product specifications, and delivery promises. For a concept, those details would be invented. The challenge was to preserve the elegant layout and motion while grounding the copy in honest, atmospheric storytelling.

What We Changed

The Voice & Experience Overhaul

  1. 02.1

    A New Voice

Rewrote the site around light, texture, and proportion. “Room for a slower life” sets the tone, while Form, Feel, and Life replace sales claims with the studio’s guiding principles.

  2. 02.2

    The Arc Collection

Reframed the product range as a concept collection, presenting each piece as an idea for a room rather than a live product listing.

  3. 02.3

    Stories Instead of Testimonials

Replaced client quotes with illustrative scenes, the quiet home and the open studio so the brand could evoke a feeling without inventing customer endorsements.

  4. 02.4

    One Route to a Conversation

Directed contact, supplier, and newsletter actions to one enquiry path, keeping the next step clear throughout the site.

03

Key Strategic & Architectural Decisions

  1. 03.1

    Self-Host Everything

Served the runtime, images, and fonts from the site’s own domain, supporting a strict Content Security Policy without third-party requests.

  2. 03.2

    One Page, Clear Anchors

Brought the catalogue, showroom, clients, and stories together on one page, with navigation that scrolls to each section instead of leading to empty routes.

  3. 03.3

    Motion With Restraint

Kept the scroll reveals that give the layout its calm rhythm, while making section links jump instantly for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
